Feb 17 - an inside job

I'd like to say that the weather was keeping me inside but it wasn't so. We got a tiny sprinkle at one point but basically it was partly cloudy and warm all day. Despite that, I worked inside.

The baseboard is now in place and painted in the bathroom. The mirror is now framed but not hung. The railing etc. in the loft is now primed. That was my day -- miter saw and paint brush.

Sandy went to Ormond Beach for a facial and some more shopping, trying to dress up the wall in the bathroom. That's what happens when you take the wallpaper down ! We are making progress.

We had the Arctic Char for dinner last night along with roast potatoes and broccoli. The fish was a treat, not something that we get down here normally (Florida = Arctic?). It was "fresh" from Iceland. Hmmm.

Today ... in a few minutes ... I leave for the 300k in Indian Harbor Beach, about 1:15 south of here. From the looks of things we'll escape most of if not all of the rain but we'll have headwinds all day. NE switching to E as we come back from Stanford, switching to S as we head back ... yes ... south. This will not be a record time !

Onward !
