Sep 22 - rain, rain go away

We are bored easily.  Cassie too.  We are so used to a very active existence that a day of rain gives us cabin fever.

I knew what was coming. I headed to Sudbury early for Mass and then Costco and was back just after noon.  It's "stock up" time as there are a number of items that we bring south with us and then, of course, there are items that we bring north !

I spent a couple of hours in the afternoon generating ISR forms (International Super Randonneur) for a couple of people.  it's fiddly and time consuming.  I'm going into town today to check with the Post Office on mailing options.  I've sent these things to Japan, France and US and they've arrived a few days later.  Ukraine and Romania are missing after three months.  Someone somewhere has ISR patches as a souvenir.  I've got more to send - re-do for Ukraine & Romania, another Romania, Belarus ... it's a lot easier to do 4 rides in 4 countries in Europe than it is in North America !

Sandy is bored too.  We're used to having company and/or doing things outside.  I've got projects that I could start but somehow the season seems over.  It's too doubtful to paint.  It seems a waste to mow / weed-eat the lawn.  It's too early to move the dock, wrap the gazebo etc.  There's a 1200k in TX but I don't want to drive all that way and definitely don't want to pack the bike and fly.

Today is supposed to be another rainy day.  We'll survive !
