Jan 19-Feb 8 - another record ?

There just doesn't seem to be that much to blog about ...

I did do a 200k in January with Central Florida Randonneurs.  I did some daily rides and then into February, I did 4 days in a row last week.  That felt good but I was sore.  The weather has been mixed, cold and rainy part of the time but nowhere near as cold as up north where they've had many many days below zero fahrenheit.

We did get out in the "big" boat once and I've had Sheryl and the two dogs over to the island a couple of times.  Everything is running well.

I went for my annual eye checkup yesterday and will be ordering new glasses.  Cataracts are stable.  Prescription has only changed a little since last year but my glasses are from 2018 - since then, there's significant change.  All's good with retinas etc.

We did get a heavy frost last week that took out some of the plants and browned the bananas.  Brad did his work with the bags of sacrete and fill and we'll see how that holds up with high tides.  We had experienced a lot of erosion.

That's really all that comes to mind.  Jason, Lorraine & Kim should arrive a week from today and the weather should be on the upswing.

Oh - I did my thing on the Granite Anvil and have a load of registrants, basically full to overscribed but there will be some attrition.  It's not my first rodeo.

Onward ...
