Sandy left a little after 11am heading to her 4pm hair appointment downtown Toronto. Later she reported in from Joyce's in Burlington. This morning they will head to Montreal.
I hung out with Cassie, doing some deck cleaning. I've got a lot of work to do there. 13 years later I'm still kicking myself for putting the deck 2x6's so close together (and so close to the house) such that they fill with debris, stay wet ... and now I've got repair work to do. Sigh. I'll do some more cleaning today using the air compressor to blow the debris out from between the boards and between the boards and the house siding.
Jason, Lorraine, Kim, Chili and Noodles arrived around 5:30. Jason did some ball throwing until the mosquitoes drove him away and back to the gazebo. Lorraine couldn't even wait until the morning, getting the lawn mower running. We all have our obsessions ... hers is noisier :).
I've only seen one mosquito in the house in the last 24 hours so whatever the gang has to put up with on the weekend is totally their responsibility.
Oh yes, I have partially packed my suitcase which of course is mostly biking stuff. The bike box itself is ready for closure; has been for a few days.
And of course there was another request for insurance info from the RUSA lawyers, which I dealt with.
Onward ? I guess so !
