Aug 30/31 - continued cleanup

I'm almost there.  The jerseys and hoodies are sorted out, financials are pretty much tied down, expense payments are underway, we've had a wrap-up team phone call, I'm almost at the point of saying that this has been put to bed. Now I have to look at the Randonneurs Ontario expenses for 2017 and do a budget for 2018, preparing for the annual meeting in Windsor next weekend.  Then things go quiet for Randonneurs Ontario for a long time.

Not to be forgotten .. I've got RUSA work to do, August financials.  That should be pretty routine.  I'll get started on that today.

We had a fire on for part of yesterday; it's 40F out there right now !  Of course it then gets pretty toasty in here but we do have windows that we can open.

Cassie and I took a short boat ride down the lake, curious as to what was happening with the house on the point.  Not much.  The roof still hasn't been finished.  A deck and stairs down have been built but this is agonizingly slow.  I can't believe that they're taking so long; the entire summer has gone by.  At this rate it will be a retirement home !

Cassie got in some swimming - the water seems warm compared to the air.  She's eager in any event.

Sandy went into Sudbury shopping.  We're expecting a crowd over the weekend but nothing has been nailed down.  Next door they're expecting Kyle.  Weather permitting, we're going to do wings for dinner on Saturday, for the assembled multitude.  It's hard to believe that it's Labour Day weekend already.

Onward !
