Halifax, Fredericton, Quebec City ... yup, we're back in QC. Two Deltas in a row and now a Pur. Hotel tic-tac-toe.
We are meeting friends for dinner - Jean and Michelle Longtin - and I thought that it was a half-hour from now but nope, it's 1.5 hours. We're back on Eastern time.
Some rain on and off today but an easy drive. 6 hours on the body and 5 hours on the clock, no more Atlantic time. We have a relatively short drive tomorrow to Hemmingford and then a longer drive on Saturday back to Loring.
Each day I add a couple of psi to the left rear tire before we set out. No problem. I'll plug it once we're up north; have done that before, successfully. If anything goes wrong, I've got a full spare there on a rim. What could go wrong ?
The tire sizes that I have right now are absolutely unavailable in any brand. I expect that we'll put up with the noisy tires to Florida, mount the snows or at least chase down replacements when we have more time. I looked at aftermarket rims and tires and that's also a possibility but then I'd be throwing these away. I hate the waste. The dang rims are expensive, whatever the size.
Onward.
