Nov 18-25 - if it isn’t one thing …

Overcommitted. Yep.

I've started work on the Granite Anvil 1200, somewhat belatedly. Luckily I don't do this one alone but I do have work that's in my court and I'm the nudge for others.

Multiple rusa projects need attention, but that's not unusual.  Some people need nudging. Websites with issues need almost daily monitoring.  Some RBAs need pursuing.  Retirement from the helm is more than a year off but tasks need handoff.

Here at the ranch there is stuff to do. Charlie showed up yesterday and did the door and drawer handles. That finishes the bathroom cabinet itself. He brought and installed the mirror … wait … the mirror broke coming out of the truck. Is that good luck ?  I still have installation work to do.

Cars need tending.  I'll have to swap wheels on the X5 shortly - snow tires. The M5 needs attention - throttle issue when cold and oil temp/level sensor needs to be replaced. But … before that … I need to replace the large piece of plastic under the front of the engine. Once off to get at the oil sensor, it won't go back in one piece.

I've purchased most, if not all, of the alarm system components for the cottage to replace the old one. That'll reduce that monthly bill. Vonage VOIP has been cancelled, that number ported to Ooma joining the cottage number.  Vonage tried to talk me into a $5 plan. Nope.

I'm still running both T-Mobile and spectrum internet. 5g isn't up yet and the jury is still out.   I'm hoping that I can sort that out before we leave for Christmas.

I put together a 2022 riding wish list but one on the list has already crashed and burned - New Zealand won't be allowing international arrivals in time. Drat. There are many more but Covid related restrictions aren't going away quickly.   Malaysia ?  South Africa ?  Europe ?  Australia ?  Japan ?  SA could be a safety concern vs Covid.

Oh well.  May you live in interesting times.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. To my Canadian friends - you had yours, although with no snow at the cottage, you could have waited.
