February 28 -- sunny and warm

Great day today -- sunny, low humidity, temps in the mid 70's, wind from the NE at 7 mph.

Sandy is feeling a little better by dinner time, but not anywhere near 100%.

We did not go boating today -- Sandy was not up to it. We are planning on going tomorrow. As a result I'm not taking the car in to get diagnostics run on the alarm tomorrow (it's going off when it should not). I'll do that some time next week. I also have tires for the SUV piled in the garage that have been there since we got back in January -- I have to get those installed before we go north.

I spent the morning working on Alex's computer and was reasonably successful, but still could not get around the partition size issue. Oh well. The machine is up and running -- I have a solution to that which involves backing up and restoring but it's probably not worth the effort. The den is still a mess with stuff piled around.

I went out for a ride at 12:30 and was back around 3:15 -- with the wind from the northeast, naturally I went north.

There were lots of bikers on the road with strange looking machines -- bike week is next week and they are gathering. It will be a biker zoo here on the weekend.

Nutrition -- 1.5 water bottles; gel at 25 and 40 miles.
