We had lots to do today. Sandy had shopping and an appointment for a facial that she had arranged for 3:30 in the afternoon plus coffee delivery to Mariadella; I had to get to the post office (mail taxes), Performance Bike (pick up a couple of items for the trip); get my hair cut and go for a ride. To complicate things, we were staying at the airport and we only had one car. Life is tough.
So ... we went out to Mariadella's, dropped off the coffee and visited, then did my errands and dropped me off at Stef's around 12:30. Sandy then went off to do her thing. I had lunch and called Aaron to arrange to meet half-way between Stef's and his work for a bike ride.
Well ... we didn't quite meet half way. I misunderstood the directions and got in a couple of additional climbing miles then called him to check; doubled back and eventually met him. He took me on his "lost hills" ride which is quite pretty, albeit brown at this time of year. There are so many huge, huge houses and properties in this area of PA and rolling hills great for climbing. I did about 52 miles -- it felt great to be out on the bike again after a few days on the trainer. It was cool though -- mid to upper 40's.
Back at Stef's, we got the bike packed in the bike box, had dinner from Poppa John's (pizza) and headed off to our airport hotel. Abby, of course, expected to come with us ... but not this time.

What's this Poppa John's that you speak of? I've only eaten at Papa John's!
