April 21 -- on the road to LA

I'll provide a complete update later today (or tomorrow, as the case may be) but our plan today is to leave around 8 a.m., drive to Alice & Peter's in Pacific Pallisades (Santa Monica area), have lunch at their place, then go out for dinner. For those of you who don't know Alice, she and I worked together forever ... well it almost seems like my entire time at TP. She is still there (at EDS, now). I don't think that I even saw Alice during 2006, since I did not make many onsite meetings in my last months, working mostly by telephone and email. Peter recently retired from Raytheon and although Raytheon was my client, the people who I worked with were in HR/Benefits -- I know Peter through Alice. Sandy has met both of them through her travels with me, especially client meetings (BA Alliance) and we once had Alice over to dinner at our place in Radnor (Philly).

I did manage to post some pictures this morning, although they still need some cleanup so they are not filed under "recent" in www.wdthompson.com. Some of them may never make it to Recent. Note that these are not accessible through the main website, only through the speciall URL below:
