Into town to pick up the mail ... nope. It's Remembrance Day ! I can see that our box is full, but no go. Oh well. I did fill up my gas tank and cruised by TimbrMart -- but of course it was closed because it's deer season ! Don't you just love small towns !
What else -- packing the car, finish my computer synchronization including a full copy of the VMware Windows XP environment, taking the garbage to the dump, cleaning my den, whatever ... the day went by.
We had pike for dinner -- the two pike that Alex caught, along with potatoes and broccoli -- all done on the barbie.
That's about it -- it's morning now and I've had my coffee and cereal. It's time to get the last of my stuff in the suitcase and get organized, no more time for blogging ... off we go.
It's 23F outside and the winter freeze is coming, at least we hope that it is. We want snow and ice when we return !
