Dec 3 - almost finished

Yes, three more DVD's to copy. I only have to make one copy of those -- the copy for Sue -- the others already have six copies -- I belatedly started making six copies instead of five. I'll be finished soon after, or during, this blog. It's been a tedious process, from the initial copy from the video camera to the DVR, from the DVR to a DVD, then copies of the DVD.

I warn you, watching them can be tedious too ... and then of course you run into the gems like Meghan in the fashion show ...

Yesterday we watched two DVDs -- the first one being my Dad's Aug - Oct 93.

-- Philip & family, me, Sandy, Jeffrey at the cottage
-- CA with Arlene in San Diego, Arlene's place in San Diego
-- Las Vegas with Willie and Flory
-- Mexico, not sure where, not Tijuana
-- Catalina Island
-- Tracy's wedding -- the church service.

The second DVD was Indiana Jones, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull ... I won't try to cover that one !! Sandy rented it from Blockbuster.

I went out for a bike ride, my usual route north into a NNE wind. I expected it to be cool since the temperature never got above 62F but it was warm in the sun and I was overdressed in my light jacket. By the time I got home it was salt-encrusted, but I'd rather be too warm than cool.

For dinner we had the Mangrove Snapper that we'd bought the day before. It was excellent -- we both agreed that it was probably better than Red Snapper. A soft fleshed fish, it went well with the broccoli and red sweet potatoes. They all went on the barbie -- it was my turn to cook the entire meal.

I have to do something about lighting out the back. There is a light in one corner but not by the barbie. I'll have to run some conduit over to the other side for another light -- perhaps conduit to two new lights, capping off the existing light. Alternatively, I suppose, I could run conduit from the light behind the den. The challenge with this sort of thing is making it look neat.

I'm not sure what I'll do today. I'm tempted to go for another ride ... it would be good to get out a few days in a row. It's supposed to be warmer today with a high of 73F ... sunny again ... do we get tired of this weather ? .... NO.

THE LAST DVD IS BEING COPIED AS I TYPE THIS !! Of course we still have 11 to watch so you've not seen the end of posts about these DVDs.
