I'm down at Stef's now, about to turn in. Tomorrow will come very quickly -- up at 4am, out at 5am, rolling at 6am. The start is only about 10 minutes away but I don't want any last minute panic finding the Tim Hortons at the Erin Mills Town Center.
I've got a very heavy pack. If I lean the bike, I'll tip over. The sooner I get some of that Perpetuem into me, the better off I'll be !
Today went without a hitch. I left around 11am and my fist stop was the Bass Pro in Vaughan. It's a huge place, reminds me of Cabellas. I found what I was looking for -- pliers and the fish basket, and was on my way again. Next stop was Ikea -- the very same exit as the bike shop -- and I got my Ivar upright to add one more row of shelves in the games room up north. Next, onto the bike store and I bought a larger pack. The trouble is that everything just expands to fill the available space anyway, since it's mostly squashed clothes. I'm not planning on dropping the pannier sides, perhaps another time when I'm more ??? more ??? loaded.
That's about it. Oh -- I didn't stop at a Best Buy. None presented itself and I wasn't really looking. I can deal with that later. Three stores in one day is my limit !
Once Aaron was home we had dinner -- a pasta salad that Stef had made with black olives, cherry tomatoes, curly pasta (ok, I don't know the names of pasta), and cucumbers. It hit the spot and won't overload me for tomorrow. It's 9:15 at this point and I need to get to sleep.
Next blog ... Sunday ? We'll see.
