Jan 5 - postcript

There's a few things that I have been forgetting to write about:

1) the only complaint that I have about this cottage is the flaky internet access. I can always access the wireless access point ... even if that means holding the PC up in the air, or going upstairs. Upstairs is where I have 5x5 access. The link from here to the town though, seems to go down frequently. Last night, for instance, I didn't get internet access until close to 9pm.

2) a funny note from Marmot Basin that I forgot to write about -- there's a coffee bar adjacent to the rental shop serving buns, coffee, espresso etc. The tip jar has a label -- tipaccino -- that gave me a chuckle. I hadn't noticed the other label, pointed out by David that said -- "thanks a latte".

3) last night, after getting back to the cottage and pumping up that tire, we went into the hot tub. It's somewhat similar to the one that we had in Radnor, with a cover that slides down into a holder. It's harder to manage though and your feet get awfully cold standing in the snow trying to get the cover back on ! I'm not complaining about that; it's my own fault for not bringing something to put on my feet. Sandy brought her Teva's, I should have brought Crocs ... but all this takes space.
