Sep 16/17 - rockin and ridin

A brief bbery update. On Friday I continued working at the rock wall, piling stones and drilling a couple of holes into the bedrock below. I'm still not sure that this is what I want to do ...

At 3:30 a.m. on Saturday I headed off to Markham for the 200k ride. With 14 riders it was busier than most Randonneurs Ontario rides. It was a cold ride, the sun not breaking through until the last hour. At that point I could finally take off my leg warmers and jacket.

I rode with Dick Fenton on and off all day finishing off 5 minutes ahead of him. All in all a good ride.

Off to Stef's, I picked up some food at the grocery store. The gang had gone out to Swiss Chalet.

This a.m. I'm headed back to Markham first to church and then to the Randonneur annual meeting.
