Nov 11 - postscript

I'd been sitting on the request for feedback from the ebay seller of the fan clutch removal tool for a couple of days and decided to look further into it. The expected delivery date for the transaction was not until next week, so I had not worried about it very much.

Checking my emails, I found that I had indeed gotten a shipping notice and filed it, but of course when you receive these, especially on the weekend, you cannot really see what is happening until sometime Monday. I hadn't bothered at the time.

Ah ha -- I did have a tracking number, and clicking on that I found that the package had been delivered ... huh ? furthermore, the logo was the eagle, i.e. USPS. It had been delivered, according to them, on Wednesday. Today is Saturday ...

I was sure that I'd seen all incoming packages, but checked around again. This one would be relatively small, probably an envelope vs a box. Nothing. Back to the website, I then saw that it had the Saxon address ! How it got that, I don't know -- I'd paid with Paypal and they've had the Keely address for a long, long time.

What's going on ? USPS is forwarding mail to Keely, so even if the address is wrong, it should have gotten here. 6:05 a.m. and off I went to Saxon. Sure enough, it was in the mailbox. A priority mail / tracking number type of envelope was awaiting me. I'd thought of checking the mailbox yesterday and forgotten. Sandy was there the day before. It's been so long since we've had mail delivered there that we don't even check any more.

Back home, I went onto the Paypal website to check addresses. Sure enough they have Keely as the confirmed address but also have Saxon as an alternate. I don't remember even being prompted for choice of address. It's lucky that it didn't get delivered to the other alternative address -- Sara ! I deleted Saxon, went to ebay and posted positive feedback for the seller. It wasn't their fault !

I know, this took a lot of writing, but it is a way to vent ...
