Feb 29 - almost ...

I just have to finish painting the mirror and I'm finished. There are things that I'd do differently if I have to do this again ... but hopefully the third time won't be on this wall !!!

What else -- I went over to the Saxon house to look at the tree trimming / surgery / amputation. The roof is now clear; probably 90% of that tree has been cut down. Jason (tenant) was there and we chatted for a bit. He felt that they'd done a good job but was in agreement that it was a shame to change the character of the house like that.

I took a couple of pictures to send off but have not done so yet.

What else ... oh yes, how could I forget ... we went boating. The weather looked so nice that we called the marina. It was a beautiful day. The water is getting warmer (70+) and with the clear sky it was a beautiful turquoise at the island. White soft sand and turquoise water ... ahhh.

Unfortunately being a Wednesday (or Thursday), Al is not in attendance and we got back just after Doug had headed out for a late lunch / physio appointment, so we had to wait an hour for him to return. We probably should have just gone out and putted some more. Next time that we go boating on Wed or Thurs, I'll check to see when he's going for lunch so that we get back afterwards. It was a nice day and we sat in the little Tiki or whatever and waited.

Pork chops were the feature for dinner yesterday. I thought they were (at least mine was) good; Sandy figured so-so. Potatoes on the grill and sauteed zucchini/olives/cherry tomatoes completed the picture. We are spoiled or rather, I'm spoiled.

Today we've got John again, 7:30 for me and 8:30 for Sandy. Then I plan on going biking. The sky is clear.
