Apr 10 - really beat up

Let me count the ways ...

-- a rubbed spot on my lower back so that any exercises where I leaned back, like bicycling on the mat, hit that spot (I have no idea how I rubbed that spot raw, it's almost like I was sitting on my jacket while riding but I don't think that I did that)

-- both knees with 1" bare patches, both "weeping",

-- legs, knees, hips sore from 12 hours of squatting / working on my knees (stupid ! stupid !)

-- hands sore from aggravated arthritis

All this made my session with John very difficult. We did a lot of work using a big ball, where I could either do push-ups or lying on my back on the ball, fly's or presses. There would have been other exercise positions that worked but it was definitely not a day for his burpees, squats, lunges, you name-it.

So ... that done ... and by the way, earlier at 4am, unable to sleep, I was back in the garage putting the wheels back on the car ... I got home from the gym and made a minor adjustment to the toe-in on the right side so that the steering wheel would straighten a bit. I won't be driving the car except for a block or two before going in and getting the alignment done but want it to at least work for that !

Today I've got the dermatologist appointment in Ormond Beach -- I'll take the Harley.

The right knee is still oozing a bit this morning. I'll have to band-aid it up. I went to Publix yesterday as well as HD -- my Dremel died -- and forgot to pick up some larger band-aids while I was there. I did pick up a lot of liquid -- a couple of types of beer for me, beer for Jimmy (arriving tomorrow) and four big bottles of diet peach snapple, which was on special but I didn't know that before I saw it on the shelf.

I was supposed to go to Bert Fish hospital this morning to do the blood test thing, but didn't go. Quite frankly when I got up I wasn't going to be able to last until then without going to the bathroom :). I'll pickup a urine sample bottle today so that on Friday I'll be able to do that at home before going over !

I rode my Permanent Populaire from here to Titusville yesterday, for the first time. It's a bit more of a pain since I have to go north to Canal to get an ATM receipt and then stop at the 7-11 in Titusville for the same, then back to Canal. It adds a couple more miles to the route, no big deal, but more than that, it adds time. I'll get over it :).

I think that's it ...

Onward !
