Mar 27 - getting organized

That's about the entire story -- getting organized for the fleche that starts tomorrow a.m. at 7 and goes until Saturday a.m. at 7.  Don't expect any blogs in between !

I've gone through various ways of getting to Jacksonville -- getting a ride to driving to Orlando and taking the train and now, finally, renting a car one-way.  By far that's the best approach.

I've got the bike all loaded up, to ensure that everything that I'm bringing has a place once I'm riding and need to shed clothing.  Unfortunately the pack that works best is up at the cottage -- I never expected to do an overnight ride, other than the 600k, this Spring. 

Yes, it is spring, although 36F this a.m. would argue otherwise.  It will be just as cold tomorrow a.m. in Jacksonville, warming up but not getting hot during the day.  The ride ends in Maitland -- the Orlando area -- and I'm asking Allister to pick me up (just let Carol know this a.m. ... sorrrrryyyy).

So that's the scoop.
