It was a great day for riding and I did. Doing the northward loop, it was slow, slow, slow going through Daytona, but entertaining. Bike week is in full swing and the traffic was stopped for 1-2 miles in each direction from Main Street.
When I got home, Sandy was out, having taken Abby for a walk to Canal Street. There was an antique car show going on. I'd ridden across Canal on the way home, picking my way around the barriers, but of course didn't see them. There was a message on my cell phone -- Jerry -- who called to say that his Nav was predicting an 8pm arrival.
I called Jerry and told him that we'd wait dinner. He arrived at 7:30 and Sandy had the fixin's for shrimp, satueed spinach and rice all ready to go.
Jerry got a taste of Easter Bread for desert; a loaf of my seedy bread is underway ... the bread maker will get lots of use in the next few days. Kylie will want white bread and banana bread. I should probably run the new breadmaker as well, just to ensure that it's working. This is to replace the breadmaker up north.
Today ... riding. Tomorrow ... riding. The next day ... riding ... get the idea ?
Onward !
