As usual, when I do my regular rides around here, it leaves me wondering how I could possibly do a 1200k. Of course the roads are rougher here, the wind is usually in my face for the first half of the ride and it takes me some time to warm up. Those are my excuses and I'm sticking with them !
What else to report ? Jeffrey and gang went to Science North in Sudbury, returning around 6:15. We had pork loins and potatoes on the grill along with broccoli. Zoe is eating a lot of big-people food now, having consumed a full slice of French Toast for breakfast and numerous bites of dinner last night. Amazing.
Sandy got a little rest and also worked in the garden, more garden than rest. I'm sure that I did other things, since the bike ride didn't last all day, but they are not springing to mind !
Today is the last day for Jeffrey here; they head to Barrie tomorrow a.m. Today is also "L" day for Stef and Aaron, finalizing plans with their lawyer and signing some papers. The actual closings take place on Monday. We'll be there, somewhere, doing something -- all TBD !
I got out fishing this morning and caught one small bass that I threw back. Hopefully he'll survive for another day.
Onward !
oh -- Just heard from Halle who will be delivering my wood today. Piling ... well that will be another thing entirely, but it gives me the summer to do that.
