We drove down to Oshawa via Barrie, bringing the trailer with washer and dryer and chipper + Stef's kayak and bicycle on Jerry's bike rack. From there we went to Costco where we loaded up on Powerade and pepsi/diet pepsi for the Controls.
Registration was a crazy time. We bundled all the t-shirts, jerseys, bags etc etc. together by rider to prep and then started sign-in. We now have all riders except three. One has been in touch with me and will be here at 3am; hopefully the others too.
This morning at 4am they head out, as do we.
I'll have to write something about my Costco fiasco, but that'll have to wait. All's well that ends well though.
Onward ...
ps -- I really wish that I was riding !
