Nov 13 - addendum

Oh yes, I installed a new light fixture in the laundry room, replacing the fan.  It's LED and has a life span of 34 years if left on continuously.  I suspect that it will out-live me by a long shot.  However, it's so bright that I have to re-paint the walls.  I'd primed them a couple of weeks ago and the white-on-white is just too bright !
