Every time I look for something in a kitchen drawer, it's in a different place. Sandy is still re-organizing and cleaning.
I completed the island plumbing, which was easy, and also finished up the plumbing under the main sink; the water heater overpressure discharge is now tied into the drain. That took some creativity as did all the plumbing in that area. Earlier in the day I had finalized the electrical work in those cabinets so I've now come "out of the cabinet", as opposed to "out of the closet".
I was going to stop there but decided to tackle the up-high trim in the living room. I'd bought and painted three 1x8 mdf pieces for that and with some experimentation on angles etc. got those cut, leveled and mounted. That wasn't much fun because I had to operate that heavy Dewalt nailer at shoulder level and that shoulder doesn't work very well ! We weren't sure if that would look better white or wall-color, but now that it's up white complements the other trim well. I still need to do something with the lights in that area to make them neater looking.
Speaking of my shoulder, I've got an appointment with the Orlando-based Ortho doctor tomorrow. I'll have to get my questions organized so it's productive.
MDF - that's the last mdf work that I'll do until I forget how dusty it is and buy some more. It's awful stuff to cut.
I finally got to the grocery store and CVS; my list had been growing.
I hope to go biking today; we'll see.
Onward !
