The blog stats are fascinating. When I look at the display that shows how many times each blog has been "read", it varies quite a bit. Typically it's in the teens, under twenty, but then there are some outliers ...
11/28 - 27 -- a little high
11/23 - 50 -- why ?
11/29 - 177 -- hmm, wonder what caught Google/Bing attention here that popped into people's queries ?
10/23 - 223 -- even stranger
10/18 - 221 -- same range
10/2 - 674 -- 674 ? What the heck ?
There are couple more in the 200 range, occasionally and 9/17 at 431. We then go back months on end with nothing much over 20.
I'm now at 2317 posts (this will be 2318) which isn't, you understand, an accomplishment per se, just another example of my persistence.
What a boring book it would make !

I'm sure that I did something yesterday, but I'm going blank. We rounded out the day at Harris and Debbie's Thanksgivikuh party. Thanksgiving and Chanukah coincide this year and won't do so again for 70,000 years, or so they say. I guess that this is a once-in-a-lifetime for me !
There was a good crowd and good food. We met a few people; most are regulars at their annual party. We talked quite a while with one fellow who is an artist; Sandy will go to see his work at The Hub, here in town. Another couple drove down from South Carolina for the party ... yes, a big deal.
---------
I know what I did. I was blanking it out. I drove to Harbor Freight in Orange City, part-way to Orlando, picking up a few things there. Then I headed to Winter Park, Orlando Suburbs. The big sign on the highway was saying accident 10 miles ahead, all lanes blocked. Oh oh. It was suggesting my exit as the alternate. Naturally the traffic ground to a halt three miles before my exit. I4 is a busy road, three lanes each direction. I got off at the exit before mine and drove city streets, eventually meeting up with the street that was my exit, which was stop and go, choked with traffic.
At Performance Bike they had nothing that I was looking for. I did buy some gels and a new skull cap, since I couldn't find mine the other day. Of course once home, I found mine. With this new one and two on order, I'll have four. Great. Duh.
With all these traffic problems, the trip that should have had me back around noon for lunch (I know, a little late for me), didn't get me back until 2pm.
I can do all this shopping online. Why do I bother with brick-and-mortar ? Every time I go shopping, I ask myself the same question !
120 miles of driving and very little to show for it.
Oh well.
Today, Sunday -- Mass shortly then perhaps a bike ride, depending on the showers which are predicted.
Onward !
