I fussed around the house in the morning, getting organized to leave. I packed the yellow bike to bring down. Had I been ready before noon, I might have headed off at that time but since it was later, I didn't want to drive into Toronto traffic heading along the QEW.
I cut up the rest of that downed maple, getting it ready to haul out of there for splitting. There are a handful of pieces left that I'll need help with -- real back breakers. They'll wait until I'm back.
I then had a snooze, said farewell to Jason and gang and headed off. Aside from some construction on the aforementioned QEW around Grimsby and heavy rain in Buffalo, it was an easy trip. I stopped short of Binghamton NY and slept for a couple of hours at a rest stop. I made it to Reading by 8:30.
No doubt I'll snooze later today, but for now I'm rolling along ...
