Nov 7 - into the wind

Yup, into the wind, but a blast coming back !

A big package arrived in the mail after dark yesterday -- my new frame !  It's all in the co-motion break-down luggage, well protected.  I haven't even taken a close look at the frame yet as it's all wrapped.  If I start into that, where do I go ?  I've got lots of parts but cannot do anything, really, until I have the fork.

I did some sort-of web work yesterday, figuring out how I would display the Sunshine 1200k info and doing a bunch of writing.  John is going to do a prettier job but I need to do the basics first and I find it easier to think about it as I see it from a rider's perspective.

I continue to putter in the garage, gradually organizing.  I installed the spare "hugger" ceiling fixture in one of the closets, getting it off the workbench. 

The motor oil arrived for the X5, so I've got to do that oil change, the first that I'll do with that car.  Hopefully the drain plug is easily accessible.  The M5 is also due.

For some reason it seems like we'll be heading north shortly and yet that's more than a month away. 

We are going to go to Key West next week, spend two nights and a day and let me look at some of the area where we'll be riding on the 1200k. I also want to visit with the two potential hotels there.  Hopefully we can visit with Hamid and Shab at the same time. 

I can't think of anything else ... onward !
