Jan 12 - just in time

Yes, I went for a ride -- enjoyed the hot weather, riding south. 
Yes, I made it back in time, before the skies opened up !

Otherwise, not much.  Sandy finished up her weeding and did some grocery shopping.  I spy wieners in the meat drawer, a sure sign that Emma is coming.  I also see strawberry flavored mini-wheats ... for somebody, but not the kids as they eat French Toast constantly when they're here.  Perhaps I should make waffles one day ...

What else ... surely there's more ... oh yes, composed and sent out Sunshine 1200k update blurbs, to the Registered Riders, the Waitlist and the Volunteers.  Rah Rah Rah.  As a result, I had a couple of riders dropped out who didn't like my email (just kidding) and one on the waitlist.  The waitlist fellow just had knee surgery and the riders were a combo of scheduling and budget -- one now has a wedding to pay for.

Now I have to do my Randonneurs Ontario thing for a conference call tomorrow night.  No rest for the wicked, indeed -- one of my paternal grandmother's sayings.

The gang arrives tonight ... oh oh.
