We left the house at 6:45 a.m. and got back just before 5pm, having completed 225km. We rode Merritt Island down to Titusville, then back over to the island, towards the Kennedy Space Center, then Tropical Trail south to 404 and back to the mainland, north on US 1. It's a good ride.
Jerry had a flat just before the 404 causeway and then had a tube problem on the bridge. I rode over something on US 1 a couple of hours later and destroyed a tire, practically cutting it in half. The tire had more life ... but not any more. Luckily I was carrying a spare.
Fish for dinner; a combination of Vermillion Snapper and Triggerfish. Excellent. Tonight's dinner will be something in Clewiston FL prior to the 400k tomorrow a.m.
I heard from Frank Tetz, who will be with us from Saturday Mar 21 to 25, leaving on the 26th. Nancy had come down with something so they delayed their trip down; were originally going to have arrived in FL on the 9th.
