There's always more to say.

The sun rises and sets the same time all year around, with very minor variation since we're so close to the equator.  It rained here a while ago, the first time in six months.  This is a little desert peninsula.  The evening temperature is about 10F, perhaps less, below the daytime temperature, year around.

"It never rains in California" is a catch-phrase, but the CA weather has much more variation.

Getting away from winter is a great idea, but living here full time ?  Some do.  For me, it's a great place to visit, as they say, but I wouldn't want to live here !
