Sandy called from the vet and it appears that Abby has arthritis / whatever in one front leg and one hind leg; so she's been given an anti-inflammatory and glucosamine / chondroitin. The appetite problem "might" be worms or it might just be the pain. Sandy has seen worms in a neighbour dog's poop (lab mix on the point) so she's going to get a de-worming treatment, which is easier than going through a bunch of tests.
I don't know if this is it. She's had fur loss etc.; perhaps that's related to allergies, as she certainly has skin allergies. We'll see. No spine problems, which is good. No x-ray today, which is good.
