Sep 22 - a little of this

... and a little of that.  When nothing significant happens I either have a short blog or a long blog as I get off on some track.  We'll see where this one ends up; I never know when I start.

I didn't do a lot around here.  I fussed with internet speed testing, as it varies significantly.  I found a site that will do periodic testing over a defined period (like days) and provide a report that might be useful.  I worked on the Hyponatremia article for the RUSA magazine -- also did some work on that this morning.

Outside it was a beautiful day, comfortable Fall weather.  Out of curiosity I used the 4-wheeler to bring the Whaler trailer down to the beach and back a couple of times.  It takes some maneuvering but I could probably pull that boat up without taking it to the ESS Narrows.  I could also use the trailer to get the Whaler right out of the water to give it a good power washing.  The ramp doesn't get the back 1/3 out of the water.

My intention this year is to leave the Bayliner in the boathouse and move the Whaler up to the barn.  That leave the Bayliner more accessible.  If the weather holds and Jason shows up at some point -- ha -- perhaps we can take a run into Port Loring for lunch.  It needs the exercise.

Sandy didn't get home until after 6pm.  She'd had a good trip, accomplished everything on her agenda (saw Stef, dinner with Kylie and her boyfriend Chris, visited with Joyce, shopped at the St. Lawrence Market and got her hair done by Al.

She brought home some fresh Coho Salmon, which was great for dinner.

That's it.  I'll keep this blog short.  I'm ready for breakfast !

Onward !
