Mar 20 - another batch on the road !

We said our good-byes to Alister and Carol; by now they should be in VA and today on their way to NY.  We hope that their travels go well.  Our next batch begins with David's arrival on Thursday, Sheryl and Jim's departure on Saturday and Kim and Megan arriving on Monday.  Cassie will be confused by the comings and goings !  Thursday night we also have Jim Solanick, Paul Rozelle, Wayne & Melanie here briefly before the start of the flèche.

The forecast for the flèche has changed; they've moved the thunderstorms to Saturday.  I hope that holds !

Yesterday was a quiet one.  I was tired from the ride the day before -- worked hard with Judith -- and didn't do a lot.  One minor project I finally got around to was patching some tubes.  I had a bundle of tubes from rides in the last year, 15 or so, and have ended up with 13 patched tubes.  There were a couple of duds that I threw in the garbage.  I also cleaned the bike, well, hosed it off anyway, getting rid of the sand accumulation from the wet ride the day before.

Nothing else major springs to mind.  This week I should get to my taxes and also wind up work on the Manitoulin 1000k.

Today it's supposed to be cool -- high of 60 and a big wind from the NW.  I think that I'll pass on riding, perhaps go out tomorrow and Wednesday.

I've got Jessica this morning; hopefully I won't have days of recovery like I have from her work on my hamstrings.

We ate at the Tiki last night ... easy.

Onward !
