Oct 25 - three workouts

Yikes.  Jessica gave me a heavy duty workout, especially the first 10 minutes on the stair climber.  Faster, faster, faster !

Then I did some work with Liz out front on the gardens, eventually moving to the other side and digging out the four large plants.  They were a bear,  big roots requiring the reciprocating saw and 6' pry bar.  I'd already cut down the plants at the front of that bed and am leaving the cleanup to Liz.

Dripping wet, I finally had a shower, relaxed a little and then was drawn back outside, removing some of the deck around that cedar tree that's going to be cut down.  That too required large and medium pry bars, impact driver to remove some screws that would cooperate, the reciprocating saw etc.  It's all piled up on the grass right now; needs to be moved out front for Thursday pickup ... assuming that the garbage detail will take it.

Somewhere in there I did some puttering with the drywall work.  It's going to take a long time just because I'm not motivated.

We had pompano for dinner, which was great.  I did it on the griddle for a change and that turned out better than directly on the grill.  Sandy sauteed some onions and peppers and I nuked some eggplant.

Cassie had a ball with Liz, racing around, pulling roots and branches, rolling in the dirt.  Fun !  At one point she got a trip to the pet store and came back with a new toy and a nasty collar that Sandy is going to test out for walking, determined that she'll learn to walk with a slack leash.  I don't care so much about slack leash as just not pulling hard.

I guess that's it ... enough for one day ... Onward !
