Nov 2 - Hollywood Studios

Of course the big event for the day was Disney's Hollywood Studios.  We left home around noon and were there long before our 2:40 pm lunch meeting with Jason, Lorraine, Kim, Doug and Cathy.  However, it did necessitate a stop at Customer Relations to straighten out our season passes, which had been booked at the incorrect (too high) rate and weren't attached to the magic bands, luckily, otherwise we'd have never known.  The differential paid for more than half of lunch.

One casualty of the day was my prescription sunglasses.  I took them out of the car and never saw them again.  I realized some time later that I didn't have them and hoped that they were still in the car, but no such luck.  I'll have to replace them before our trip to Tanzania, so that's on the "must do soon" list.  Sandy suggests calling Disney but that seems fruitless to me.  I don't have any ID in the case (stupid me) and can't imagine what a zoo any lost and found might look like at Disney.

We met the gang outside of Momma Melrose (think that's the name), an Italian Eatery in Hollywood Studios.  Kim had arranged a package price for all of us that included preferred seating at the after dark show - Phantasmic (?).  Between our 2+ hour late lunch (D'unch ?) and the light show, we took in Beauty and the Beast and Tower of Terror, the latter being easy even on Sandy's neck.

We were home shortly after 10pm.  It would have been a lot later if a sign on 528 hadn't alerted us to an "all lanes blocked" situation 14 miles ahead so we diverted onto 417, to I4, to SR44.

Cassie was happy to see us, of course, even though she'd had a great day playing with Gabby from up the street and then Lisa at dinner time.  Entertainment plus !

Before heading to Disney, I'd done some more work on the bathroom window, which is now primed.  I do have to pick up baseboard etc. to finish off the carpentry before digging around to see if I have any leftover paint which might turn into getting a quart mixed for us from the local Benjamin Moore.

I haven't done much with the bedroom window as that has to have an insert louvered blind ordered to size.  Sandy needs to tend to that first.

Today ... hopefully I'll get out riding.  I have no other appointments at the moment, other than Jessica at 8:30.

Onward !
