Dec 25 - trimming the tree

In this case that's accurate, trimming from the top and from the sides.  It was too late to trim from the bottom !

Sandy did most of the work; I did the high stuff.  I really need scaffolding to do this safely :)

We talked to almost all the immediate family and they'll start drifting in today, boxing day, assuming that the freezing rain doesn't make Osprey Road a skating rink.  The test is "can I walk safely".

It's 22F outside now and it has been raining lightly; I'll go out once we have daylight and check it out.

The fish were biting; I pulled in another two nice pike and we had one for dinner. 

I guess that's about it; another quiet Christmas with just the two of us; the calm before the storm, but a good storm !
