Jan 11/12 - and again

Wednesday was a busy one with Meningitis shots first on the agenda and some shopping for "stuff" for our upcoming trip.  Sandy wasn't happy with what she saw at the new outlet mall so she went out later to Dick's and picked up some clothing.  Yesterday she went to the trekking store and did some more shopping.  This is adding up !

I did a 300k yesterday; a long day.  I left here at 3:00 and stated riding at 4:30 and was back home around 8:30.  Apart from being a little chilly first thing, it was a great riding day.  I did have a dog run-in, a vicious German Shepherd that came close to getting a piece of my leg and then almost brought me down as he ran in front of me.  The dog is usually contained but the people have a new gate and it doesn't have screen on it yet.  I'm worried about the riders on Sunday but there aren't any options.

Three days ... that's all we have before we drive to Miami and fly to Africa !  Lots to do !
