Feb 20 - about the house and about town

There were no big happenings on Monday - some RUSA work on the jersey and accounting, re-started work on finishing the bedroom window, met with Duane to plan the exterior house painting that will start later in the week, etc.

Lisa Portelli and Don Gramling dropped over; they'd had lunch with someone at Norwoods.  We chatted for an hour or so sitting out the back.  Sandy had been out doing errands and returned while they were here.

After meeting with Duane, Sandy and I headed to Ormond Beach on US 1, or perhaps it's still Holly Hill at that point, to look at outdoor furniture that she's chosen and to place an order.  This is a table and four chairs to go outside the kitchen.  From there we headed to what used to be Peter's Wine Shop, now called 95 & Vine, which is on Dunlawton in Port Orange, close to I95.  Plowing through traffic on US 1 to get to the furniture store and then on Nova Road is slow going at the best of times.  Traffic was a bear yesterday with President's Day.

Cassie came along for the ride; she's always eager to get into the car.  "Where are we going now, Dad ?". Abby was the same.  Vickie didn't do anywhere near as much car travel.

We caught up with Bonnie Matthews.  Pauline and family had been over skiing at Collingwood.  Jim is doing well.  We traded newsie updates.

Otherwise ... that's it.

Onward !
