Mar 1&2 - more of the same

Not exactly, but riding every day and that takes the bulk of the day.  South on the 1st, North on the 2nd, we may be in shape for the 600k on the weekend !

I've had a lot of RUSA work what with the jersey and closing off February for our meeting on the 1st.  Now that I've got the hang of the accounting setup it should get a lot easier.

The painting has continued; it's going well.  It's a big job.

On the ride northwards yesterday the wind was supposed to start off from the WSW and then gradually turn W and then N.  I figured that it wouldn't really get to full N before we were heading back. Well, I was wrong.  We hadn't ridden a mile southwards when the temperature dropped 20 degrees and all of a sudden we were riding 25 mph and the leaves on the ground were going faster than us !  It was some ride back, probably record time !  We only stopped when we were close to home, at the DQ, as we were trying to outrun the rain.  We were successful; it started raining within minutes of our arrival.
