Mar 8 - Hobe Sound visit

Yesterday was all about heading to Hobe Sound, about 2.5 hours south of us, to visit with cousin Anne & husband Paul; Aunt Ruth and cousin Scott and wife Mary who were visiting at the same time.  The drive was easy; the company was great.

I don't think that I've spent that much time talking to Scott in ... whenever.  That's the way life goes.  We would see them every Christmas at Aunt Joan's but it was always a zoo there and we all had little ones.

Cassie came too.  It's only in the presence of others that it hits home how HYPER she is.  Anne asked if she ever slowed down ... well ... no.  Most dogs will sleep away a lot of the day but not Cassie.  Great ! (well, hmm).

Anne and Paul have spent much of the winter in Hobe Sound.  Scott and Mary rented south of that by an hour for four months, leaving on Dec 31st, by the sounds of things.

A lot of good chatting; a lot of good catching up.

Aunt Ruth is doing very well.  She'll be back in Toronto for Easter, leaving before Anne and Paul, who have three more weeks here before heading north themselves.

That's it ... onto another day !
