We hit Burlington last night; I got there before Sandy. I dropped her downtown Toronto for a haircut on the way here.
It occurred to me that I had a haircut in May before leaving Florida; in July the day of Gavin's wedding ... and will have another when we get to NSB FL. Once every two-or-so months is plenty. Sandy has one per month or close to that; each to his/her own.
As usual we're loaded up; car and trailer. I must have made 50 trips to the car yesterday in the final throes of packing. I got all my exercise on those concrete stairs that my Dad built. The prior day, I'd basically tied everything down in the trailer, organizing and reorganizing. There has to be a better way. I need to buy a small moving van or a big F350 with a crew cab and 8' box. Yeah ... that's what we need ! Sandy hasn't gone for it yet.
Sandy took the GO train out to Burlington and Joyce picked her up; they went to dinner and got to the hotel at Walker's Line around 9:15. I was still on the phone with my 8pm RUSA conference call.
