Mar 28/29 - zipping by

Let's see ... on the 28th, I rode.  It was really, really windy so I had a struggle going south but had a great trip back.  I'd left late so I wasn't back until after 5pm.  At that point, Sandy headed out to do some grocery shopping.

On the 29th, I rode again, a short 18 mile ride from my BMW guy in Daytona Beach, back home.  I should really plan that kind of visit for when I've got a tail wind going home !  Normally we'd have double teamed it but with two grandkids still sleeping ... well there you have it.

We took them to the beach in the afternoon and they had a blast.  Digging in the sand, running back and forth with buckets of water, Zoe called herself "the queen of the waves" until she was knocked over, but wasn't fazed.  Matthew, who wouldn't play in the waves a year ago, would now do so but if the wave looked big, he would run over to hold my hand before the wave hit him.  It was incredibly windy at the beach which made it chilly.  Sandy and I had towels wrapped around us !

We've been eating late.  It's easier to feed the kids, put them to bed (I handle Matthew; Sandy Zoe) and then eat.

I went to Bert Fish yesterday a.m. before breakfast or coffee and did my annual labs. I've got my annual physical next week with Dr. Keller.

Onward !
