Amazing security. Simply amazing. More checks, questions, bag tag checks - actually reading the numbers, not perfunctory, than anything we've encountered. It's all efficient though, and well staffed, and everyone speaks excellent English.
The flight was on time. The bags were rolling out as we got through the first of many passport checks. Machines print stay and exit permits. I expect that facial recognition compared the live camera with our passports and has probably tracked us through the airport ...
Now checked in for the flight to Hong Kong, we await another flight, another 10+ hour flight.
Onward and upward.
