Nov 27-29 - settling in

I don't even know if I'll bother unpacking my suitcase. We leave again so soon; planned on Dec 10.

In the meantime ... a replacement tire & rim are supposedly already on the way here except that UPS doesn't have a record of scanning the delivery yet, which is a bit weird.  It was out for shipping late Wednesday and the latest that I'd have expected to see it tracked on the UPS site would have been yesterday, Friday.

I did get out for a ride on Friday.  It was a beautiful day.  The wind was from the NE again, which is a lovely ride.

Sandy went to Lowes on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, only to find them closed.  Apparently Google didn't have that correct.  She's unhappy with the new cushions that she bought for the chairs outside, shipped from Wayfair, and went back yesterday and bought more.  Now she has to figure out how to ship the other ones back - big box !

We had turkey day with Harris and Debbie and a bunch of their friends.  We got off easy, only bringing wine.  Others brought various entrees for the well organized meal.  There were some wonderful concoctions.

Wednesday, of course, was arrival day, in time for dinner at the SYC.  Driving was uneventful, mismatched tire and all.

Today is a day off the bike but I did hit the gym this morning.  Tomorrow, Dec 1, I'll get out for a 200k.

Onward !
