yeah, yeah. What's there to tell. Jeffrey and gang cleared out on the 8th and the day after, work started on the bathroom ... well not exactly work, but prep. Real work started Monday 11th.
This is new territory for me. Drywall, electrical, plumbing; all supervision not doing. I'm just as happy that way.
My back/knee seems to be gradually getting better but I don't know how far I can ride yet, let alone climb. It's too easy to cruise here in Florida without any stress. I'm going to the gym occasionally and working on my back, mostly. I realized that working on the knee is better done by doing more standing, getting rid of the hitch at the top of the rotation.
So that's about it. No definite plans for travel yet but it will be sometime after May 20, we're thinking. Last year we crossed June 1 and it might be the same this year.
David & Vanda are up at the cottage this weekend. We had an attempted break-in at the barn - seems like someone took their shoulder to the man-door, broke the latch mechanism on the door handle but were stopped by the padlock and big eye-bolts. There was no externally visible damage. Perhaps at that point the light flashed on the Blink camera and that scared them off ? Perhaps I should attach some sort of siren ... or perhaps a better latch ... hmm. David also took care of a squirrel that was getting into the attic, AFAWK (as far as we know) and prepped the gazebo and moved the docks. We're open for business or at least our cottage is !
Onward.
