May 25-29 - construction

Tiling is mostly done other than baseboard tiling that can't take place until the door frames and cabinet are in.  I believe that Leo is back on Monday to finish up the construction; cabinet is due Thursday; later Thursday they're supposed to take the template for the quartz top.  Luke should also be in to install the shower piece and toilet.  I'll let him do the toilet.  I'll do the basin & faucets.  We won't be here to see it finished and some of that will wait until the Fall ... like towel bars, painting etc.  Oh yes, at some point soon the glass people will be in for their marching orders.

In the meantime ... I've gotten in a couple of rides and did the finishing electrical work - three receptacles, 4 switches and a plain plastic lampholder (the US terminology) where the vanity light will be.  I don't know if Sandy has picked anything out yet; I think not.

The "cold" water faucet temperature is now over 80F.  Yes, I could swim in the cold water.  The Intracoastal Waterway was 80F too, and climbing.

We have a tentative departure date - June 7.  That would get us to PA on the 8th.  From there, it'll depend on our arrangements for covid testing etc.  These dates could slide.  There's a lot to do.

Onward ?
