Oct 19 - things done, things to do

Everything is in slow motion.

I / we have managed to get some things done.

I get around on crutches. Just when I start to feel that my left knee is making progress something clicks, clunks and I have sharp pains for the rest of the day.   That happened Saturday and yesterday, Wednesday.  The slightest twist of the knee can trigger it. There's something loose - a screw perhaps, yeah probably.

Today I see my doc. I hope that I can get in to see a specialist soon.

I'm the meantime, we've eaten at the sushi place, the club twice, Sandy has cooked shrimp and crab cakes.  The sprinkler system is working again - there were three separate issues with zone 2.  The M5 battery has been replaced. Sandy has done some yard work. The outside furniture is mostly in place.  Jim helped get the grill out and it's temporarily connected.

I inspected the bike more closely. The fork steerer is bent. I don't know about the head tube. I ordered a steel fork and will see if it rotates clean. If not, then I'll be bringing the frame back to Hugh.   I might do that anyway for inspection.  I've sent a query to TiCycles asking about timing and cost for a new Ti fork.  I've got a quote for front wheel and light. I also just sent an email to my insurer to see if any of this is covered. No harm in asking.

My assumption is that I will eventually be back on the bike. The question is when.

Etc etc etc.
