Mar 18/19 - back to two

David and Vanda left around 8am and we heard from them about 12 hours later that they were in Beckley.  I'd expect that they'll be getting close to home in Stayner now, if they're not already there.  I'll "ping" David to see.

The four of us went to take in Bike Week in Daytona - Jim & Sheryl on their Spyder; Sandy and I on the Harley. It was the usual zoo on Main Street.  We cruised and then found a place for lunch, then shopped for T's.  I did the 4-for-25 thing.

Home again, we headed out again, this time for Polobolus, Shadowland, in Orlando.  We ate at the Bento Box again; this time I was impressed by the Sashimi; last time not so much.  The service was also a lot better !

The show/dance was great !  90% of the time the 9 dancers were behind a screen with their shadows showing.  They were able to do amazing things with their shadows.  Not just hand-ducks; I can do that.  Sandy found a you-tube to show Jim and Sheryl.

Back home before 11; that day was over.

Today .. yes today ... some bike maintenance and do the rotor / pad thing on the X5.  It's smooth now.  The rust had done a real job on the brakes after it sat for the better part of a month after traveling through the salt and snow on the road.  A layer of rust had built up between the brake pads and the calipers, creating uneven braking.

That done, I did some banana tree trimming; just dead stuff.  That's pretty much the entire day.

Tonight will be a short night as I leave for Tavares and a 400k at 2am.  30 hours later I should be back home.  Yikes.

Onward !
