Apr 4 - big rain

It was a big rain day with a huge storm system north of us.  It looked like it would block air travel, i.e. Jeffrey & Sara's flight, but they were cleared and landed mostly on time.  Bedlam started around 4pm with their arrival - kids & dog.

For a while that storm system stayed north but it strayed into our area and dumped big rain.  We haven't had much rain so we didn't mind it so much.

Kathy has kept us posted on her cycling adventure with emails and Facebook posts; the latest of her tent pitched on the ground and her clothing hanging from a tree -- "wash day".

It looks like Arlene might, just might, make it here; we're hoping !  That would be the weekend after Easter, I believe.  Time will tell !

Today is supposed to be hot -- 91F the last I looked -- we were hoping to go boating but that will depend on whether thunderstorms have cleared the area.
