Apr 5/6 - boating and Disney and Universal

The 5th was all about boating.  We packed a lunch because our usual restaurants were closed, and we spent a lot of time on disappearing island beach.  It was low tide and there were huge areas of shallow water for the kid to play.  Matthew was more interested in playing in the sand while Zoe and Emma were in the water.

Cassie had a blast.  She ran and ran and ran.  Later she upchucked in the boat, a combination of drinking a little seawater, the running and a bouncing boat.

Yesterday was divide and conquer.  Sara and Jeffrey headed off to The Magic Kingdom with Zoe and Universal Studios with Emma respectively.  They were even staying in different on site hotels last night.  We, on the other hand, took Matthew to Animal Kingdom.

What a great kid !  5pm and we were at the 40 minute long Finding Nemo puppet show and he was still going strong, mesmerized by the show even though he hadn't had his afternoon nap.  We got to the car a little after 6pm and he promptly fell asleep, as you might expect.

We saw Facebook posts from Jeffrey with Emma but didn't see anything from Sara other than comments on my posts, so we don't know how Zoe did at MK.

Today I head to St. Petersburg with Melanie and Wayne and we start our Fleche at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow; finish at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.  The weather prediction is good, although the wind will be coming from the wrong direction and it might be a little cool at night.  C'est la vie !

Onward !
